Showcats Programs 2009
We have four different shows, which can be presented completely or combined. You can book only one show, two shows or all - please talk to Angie Ling about your personal event.
Requirements & Conditions:
Location:
We prefer places with two sims, which are connected on one side. We build our stage on one sim and the public room on the other, to provide as less simlag as possible. We can try to dance on one sim only, when extremely low simlag is guaranteed or not too much public is expected. Up to 40 people on one place is effordable, every event bigger than 40 visitors need the 2-sim concept.
Building Rights:
We need building rights for at least 2 crewmembers to be able to rezz and operate our props.
Type of acting:
We are a unique major act, we will NOT dance as chorus line to a singer or any kind of solo performer. If we do, this is an exception and a gift.
Customized Shows:
We will surely develop a customized show for your specific needs, but consider, that it takes a lot of time and efford for a bunch of people to create this. So the cost will be a bit higher than 1000 Linden.
Special Events:
We do special events like "Fashion Shows" or else - we can also negotiate our outfits for shows like that. But dont expect us to dance on a catwalk!
Music:
We dance to our own mixes ONLY! If you wish particular music wrapped into our mixes, ask please, and we will see what we can do, and how much we charge.
Event Requirements:
We want regions owners to provide us the following, before, during and after our shows:
- please set your parcel/region to our stream we will give to you
- set the region to "midnight"
- please care for security or give rights to our own security staff (we must prevent individuals from jumping on our stage, occupy our sit-balls, grief us with particles or chat spam etc.)
- please wait with changing the music stream until we give the ok to it. There may be music afterglows you may not know about before.
And here are the shows:
Flamenco Show
The Flamenco show uses elements of spanish dances, but mixed with trance rhythms. The setting is a mild artificial background in adobe style. Dancers are costumed differently. This show has a particular opening with props.
Number of dancers on stage: 5
Duration: approx. 8 Minutes
Gothica
The Gothica Show is the most ambitioned show we have yet made. The setting is a dark castle background, the music is a mix of artrock and romantic metal. There is a particular opening with a solo dance, the entire show will tell a story about death and resurrection.
Number of Dancers on stage: 8
Duration: approx. 20 Minutes
Phoenix Matrix Show
This was our first show, and we play it for a long time now. Often we present it as a "da capo". The set is a skyscraper abstract in the background, the costumes are very sexy with our characteristical "wings". The music mix is made with elements of the matrix movies and pieces of Rael Wissdorf. There is huge fireworks in the middle and the end. See this show on youtube.
Number of dancers on stage: 7
Duration: approx. 15 minutes
Navras
This little but impressive showpiece we add as a good measure when the audience wants more. The soundtrack is a shortened version of the song "Navras" by Juno Reactor and Don Davies, which has become famous as the Matrix Revolutions credit song (originally 9 minutes long).
There is no special build for it, but the dances are different from the others and the lightshow blows some nice extras.
Duration: 4 Minutes (show)
Duration time with applause and additional final musicscore (Now we are free, by Hans Zimmer & Lisa Gerard) is approx. 8 Minutes
